Legacies

Family and friends are important and you will want to remember them appropriately in your will. With the increasing value of property it may be that you will have more to leave than your family need so, please consider leaving gift to The Bradford Court Chaplaincy Service.(BCCS) to help us continue our important life-changing work.

How to leave a legacy

Leaving a legacy to BCCS is really quite simple but it is always better to do this through a trained solicitor or qualified Will writer. We can't recommend a particular solicitor or Will writer but you can contact the Law Society to help find a suitable Solicitor in your area. Professional Will writers have been operating for some years but you need to check that the person you are using is competent. We suggest you use someone who is registered with a professional organisation, such as the Institute of Professional Will Writers.

Solicitors

You can find a suitable solicitor in your area through the Law Society From time to time solicitors offer a "free scheme" if you are leaving some money to charity.
