About Bradford Court Chaplaincy Service

Bradford Court Chaplaincy Service is an independent, multi-faith team based at both Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court and Bradford Combined Court Centre. We offer free practical, pastoral support and assistance to all court users. As an independent charity we provide completely confidential and non-judgmental support, tailored to individual needs.

We offer to anyone who needs it:
  • Free Confidential assistance
  • Practical support & guidance
  • Faith-based support
  • A "Listening ear"
  • Signposting to other agencies
Court care works with other specialist agencies to provide support for issues including:

Abuse ~ Alcohol ~ Benefits ~ Befriending ~ Bereavement ~ Disability ~ Clothing ~ Debt ~ Domestic Violence ~ Drugs ~ Education ~ Employment ~ Family ~ Food ~ Health ~ Housing ~ Loneliness ~ Parenting ~ Shelter ~ Victim Support ~ Youth Services.

Our Service was set up in 2008 and was officially launched in 2009 under the name of Bradford Court Chaplaincy Service, operating as Court Care from 2012.

Our project is innovative and unique. It is the only full-time, multi-faith, independent Court-based charity in the UK with a full team of highly trained volunteers.
